From the beginning of the Earth there was a plan that light would evolve in the physical on this planet. Ever since then your Soul has been present here in various life forms. To begin with, your Soul simply incarnated in the physical matter of Earth. It also incorporated in the Libraries of Light so that life would be inspired to evolve.
